New Writing and Improvisations

This is a short post to remind any and all of you that I post my writing and music (mostly in the form of improvisations like the video linked above!) elsewhere online.

In addition to this blog, which is the home for my personal and artistic reflections, I have a Substack newsletter that I use to published writing that is more academic and/or newsy in its subject matter.

Today, I released the first installment in a new Substack series that pits material from my University of Michigan course “Music & Meaning In Our Lives” against the sophisticated AI text generation program ChatGPT3.

Also, over the last sixteen months, I have regularly released videos of my synthesizer improvisations and other electronic music on my TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube pages.

My latest is linked above, and features a Moog Grandmother synthesizer I borrowed from the Ann Arbor District Library, a cool by product of my and my composition students’ fabulous collaboration with the library last semester.
